The ''KurzFilmFestival OSW'', which will take place coming November 14 up to and including November 16 at the ''Kunstetage'' and the local cinema in OSW, wants to invite all film producers to submit their best works. Our goal is, to offer/create a program (with/through the various entries) that allows/offers new viewing experiences and a platform for innovative, creative and surprising film ideas.
During the ''KurzFilmFestival OSW'' a film scene is to be made visible, which claims to be NEW.
We are looking for unknown and interesting short films from Berlin and all other places in the world, to display the regional and international film works. Also we are looking for artists, who wants present his experimantal - film.
The topic is open. There will be a open competition at friday (Freestyle Friday) with a audience award and a "Wettbewerb"-competition with a jury award.
The awards will be given during the after-show-party
The short film can be sent (independent of category, quality and budget) till October 10 to ''Kunstetage'' Kurzfilmfestival Oberschöneweide, Hoffmann, PSF 94 02 38 in 12442 Berlin.
The ''Kunstetage'' is a place for contemporary art.
The ''Kunstetage" provides a Screening project of contemporary artists. It'll be opened as a Media Lounge for the ''KurzFilmFestival OSW'' and offers an area for communication and exchange. It is opened non-stop and VJs and DJs will present works and show their talent.
The short film program in the cinema starts Friday 6pm till Sunday .
A further important element of the ''KurzFilmFestival OSW'' is the competition/contest for children and youngsters. We would like to address all children and youngsters aged 7 -17, who gladly place themselves behind the camera and record their point of view.
It is important that your films covers your own living environment/surroundings. Try to give a personal expression/idiom to the film.
In which field you want to place your film in the end, is your decision.
The festival is a short film festival, therefore there is a length restriction. the films may not exceed a length of 30 minutes.
The most imaginative, unusual, humorous and unique work will then be shown throughout the three-day-long ''KurzFilmFestival OSW'' in the cinema ''Kino Spreehöfe'' Wilhelminenhofstrasse 89, 12459 Berlin.
